A huge thank you to all the Euro and local candidates who worked so hard in the recent elections, and congratulations to those who won their seat.

We would like to congratulate all our women MEPs who have been re-elected - Fiona Hall in the North East, Diana Wallis in Yorkshire and Humber, Sarah Ludford in London, Liz Lynne in the West Midlands and Sharon Bowles in the South East. We are also delighted that Catherine Bearder has joined Sharon as an MEP for the South East, increasing our already impressive representation of Liberal Democrat women in the European Parliament.
